Washington-headquartered American Advertising Federation today breaks a new generic campaign promoting the value of advertising.
Created on a pro bono basis by Minneapolis shop Carmichael Lynch, the campaign aims to persuade marketers to advertise more. It features top brands, all of which have been boosted by advertising.
Themed ‘Advertising. The way great brands get to be great brands’, the debut ad features the Coca-Cola and Sunkist logos alongside the Energizer battery bunny. In each case, the word ‘Advertising’ in the brand’s familiar typeface substitutes for the brand name itself.
