TEXAS RADIO GIANT ADDS TWO TO PORTFOLIO

Dallas-based The Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation is to acquire two radio stations in San Antonio for about $45 million in cash.

The dual buys areKBUC-FM and KRNH-FM, respectively owned by Redding Enterprises and Radio Ranch Management.

HBC owns or operates 45 radio stations and reckons that its latest deal will incur two years of operating losses. The company is the largest Spanish-language radio broadcaster in the United States.
