Food, health and household care conglomerate Reckitt Benckiser has reportedly chosen six agencies to compete in the next round of the review for the $10–$15 million duties of its French’s mustard and condiment brands.
Shops still vying for the business are DDB, TBWA/Chiat/Day, Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, Jordan McGrath Case & Partners, Deutsch and Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/Euro RSCG. Three or four finalists are expected to be chosen shortly.
A quartet of New York shops did not make the cut, say sources: Fallon, Merkley Newman Harty & Partners, Della Femina Rothschild Jeary & Partners and Berlin Cameron & Partners.
In addition to French’s mustard, the account portfolio includes the Worcestershire sauce, potato sticks and fried onions brands, as well as Frank’s RedHot sauce. Previously handling the account was the now extinct Warwick Baker O’Neill.
