US digital broadcast service Sirius Satellite Radio is to launch in four cities on Valentine’s Day.
Having delayed its roll-out last year [WAMN: 20-Nov-01], the service will finally hit the airwaves on February 14, but only in Denver, Houston, Phoenix and Jackson, Mississippi. The launch lags that of rival XM Satellite Radio by several months [WAMN: 13-Nov-01].
Supporting Sirius will be an integrated campaign from McCann-Erickson Worldgroup in New York with the tagline ‘You’ll never want to leave your car’.
