Redwood New Media, the interactive marketing arm of contract publishing specialist Redwood Publishing, is the first sponsor of the DMA's forthcoming E-Mail Preference Service. The scheme, based on the successful Telephone, Fax and Mail Preference Services, allows consumers to register their objection to receiving unsolicited marketing material via e-mail - 'spamming' as the cyber-community calls it. Redwood will help promote the service via the Internet for three years, providing user-friendly search engine facilities that enable consumers to find the EPS with maximum ease.
