This autumn sees the launch of an all-encompassing new brand identity for UK digital TV broadcaster BSkyB.

Also being overhauled is the Sky One channel, which has recently suffered a slump in viewing figures after its flirtation with low-budget programmes. Sky hopes to revamp the channel, even contemplating a name change, to increase its chances of rivalling ITV1 and Five.

This follows the recent proposal to launch Sky Freesat, providing 200 channels for a £150 ($273; €226) one-off payment.
