LONDON - The UK's nascent radio industry marketing body, RadioCentre, on Friday named Andrew Harrison as its new chief executive.
    Harrison, who takes up the post on October 1 is the former marketing director of Nestlé Rowntree and UK managing director of German dairy foods giant Müller.
    He is charged with forging a single vision for the future of commercial radio in the UK and demonstrating the benefits of the medium to broadcasters, advertisers and listeners.
    RadioCentre is the recently formed offspring of the Commercial Radio Companies Association and the Radio Advertising Bureau.
