South Korean-headquartered auto giant Hyundai Motor Sales USA has shortlisted five shops in its bid to consolidate its $160 million (€183.66m; £112.48m) US creative business.

Competing under the baton of selection consultancy Select Resources International, the surviving five are: Bates USA (West, Irvine, California), FCB West (San Francisco and Irvine), Publicis West (Seattle), Publicis & Hal Riney (San Francisco) and Richards Group (Dallas).

The victor will be named by the end of April.
