PARIS - A plethora of new business wins boosted fourth quarter revenues at Publicis Groupe - which chairman/ceo Maurice Lévy attributed to bullish conditions in the global advertising market, particularly the US, Russia, China and India.
Q4 revenue rose to €1.19 billion ($1.42bn; £816.0m) from €1.05bn billion a year earlier. Revenue for the year rose to €4.13bn versus €3.83bn last year.
Excluding the effect of acquisitions and currency changes, revenue increased 8.6% in the quarter.
In line with French accounting practice, revenue and profit are reported separately - the latter scheduled for release March 3.
