PARIS: French marketing services conglomerate Publicis Groupe has acquired independent Paris-based interactive communications agency Wcube as part of its ongoing digital expansion strategy.
Both companies are zip-lipped about the financial details of the deal.
Wcube, which will be rebranded Publicis Modem France, was founded in 1995 and is one of France's earliest interactive agencies. Its 60-plus staff number Jean-Paul Gaultier, Lee Jeans, Sara Lee and Sprite among their clients.

The group plans to open up to ten more offices worldwide within six months.
