UNTERFOEHRING, Germany: Commercial television and radio giant ProSiebenSat.1 has posted a 36% rise in adjusted core earnings to €661.3 million during 2007.
Sales climbed 29% to €2.7bn, compared with the year earlier period, thanks to the acquisition of broadcaster SBS.
The company expects sales and earnings to improve further in 2008 but has not given details, save to say it does not anticipate a downturn in its markets.
ProSiebenSat.1 and SBS generate significant advertising revenues and operate in thirteen countries. They own 26 TV channels, 24 pay-TV stations as well as 22 radio networks.
