AS FROM JANUARY next, retailers across the European Union will voluntarily start to display dual prices and accept payments both in national currencies and euros. The deal, which was concluded between consumer bodies and retail trade associations, is designed to create 'a climate of confidence during the changeover to the euro' and will include shops, hotels and petrol stations.
