PFIZER PICKS DEUTSCH FOR ZOLOFT BRAND

Pharmaceuticals giant Pfizer is expected to appoint Deutsch to handle the estimated $50 million account of antidepressant brand Zoloft. The win follows Deutsch’s 1999 gain of Pfizer's Zyrtec anti-allergy account. Others in the Zoloft direct-to-consumer pitch included Young & Rubicam, Merkley Newman Harty Healthworks and FCB Worldwide.
