A new study from NPD Group and Media Metrix shows back-to-school shoppers flocking to the web.

The data was garnered from two sources: a sample of 6,752 parents of students returning to school this fall and 2,578 college student members of NPD’s online panel.

According to the report, some 90% of parents and college students able to access the web have shopped or plan to shop online for back-to-school items.
