CANBERRA - Australia's will-they-won't-they? reforms of cross-media and foreign ownership rules could finally be announced by the end of this week.
The relaxation of Australian media regulations is a long-running and contentious issue which has drawn fire from the country's biggest media owners [WAMN: 03-Jul-06].
Latest speculation is that 2010 will be the date offered for the loosening of ties.
