A new international network specialising in integrated marketing communications, TBWA/Connect, has been launched by the New York unit of Omnicom’s TBWA Worldwide.

In addition to New York, the fledgling has also established a presence in Playa del Rey, California, and San Francisco. TBWA's London and Paris offices are also expected to house similar units within the next few months.

Heading TBWA/Connect from the New York office is Nick Mclean (39), former media director at TBWA/Chiat/Day. As yet is job is untitled.

He will oversee consumer communications across the range of marketing disciplines, working for clients such as Absolut vodka and Kmart.
