NEW YORK: The world's biggest advertising agency conglomerate, Omnicom Group, has posted an impressive 14% climb in first quarter net profit to $208 million(€130m; £104.5m), compared with the year earlier period. Sales were boosted 12.5% to nearly $3.2 billion.

The company says US Q1 revenue climbed more than 7.5% to almost $1.66bn, while international revenue rose more than 18% to $1.53bn.

Ceo John Wren (pictured) says he remains "cautious" about the economy but added that, as yet, "we have not seen any significant reduction in client spending".
