Ad holding company Omnicom Group – parent to networks such as BBDO, DDB and TBWA/Chiat/Day – has posted Q2 net income of $151 million, a jump of 19% on the $127m in 2000’s second quarter.

Global revenue stood at $1.75 billion, a rise of 15% from last year’s $1.52bn, while US revenue also increased 15%, from $805m to $925m.
