Omnicom’s London direct marketing hotshop Claydon Heeley Jones Mason has lost its discrete identity. With immediate effect it is absorbed into its parent’s Direct Partners network, creating a hybrid that will “seamlessly serve global clients”.

The enlarged group employs some 400 staff across North America, Europe and Asia. Says Tom Harrison, chair and ceo of Omnicom’s Diversified Agency Services: “The two companies are both innovative in their approach and are an ideal cultural fit.”

In London, Claydon Heeley founder Jon Claydon obligingly agreed: “We see eye-to-eye with Direct Partners. The alignment means we can now manage brand communications on a global scale."
