Lizzie Palmer, a former marketing director of Capital Radio, has been hired by Orange as head of brand marketing. Her appointment is on a contract basis, replacing Rob Furness who now assumes additional responsibility for e-communications.
One of Palmer’s main priorities is the completion of Orange's £32 million creative account review, which began in March. The contestants have been filtered down to three: incumbent WCRS (still in the running despite its refusal to repitch), TBWA GGT Simons Palmer and Lowe Lintas & Partners. A decision is thought to be imminent.
