NEW YORK - Omnicom-owned media agency network OMD Worldwide and Viacom's MTV Networks have unveiled a deal for the 2006-07 season under which "OMD's clients will be the first to receive advertising opportunities" across MTVN's television channels and digital extensions.
The deal is valued at more than $300 million (€234m; £160.9m), with 10% earmarked for new media, and extends to around thirty OMD clients.
Says president/ceo Joe Uva: "Through this collaboration, we are able to provide our clients with even greater reach to a broad, yet targeted and highly engaged audience of consumers."
