Healthcare giant Novartis has launched a $250 million review to consolidate its global pharmaceutical products media duties.
Participating in the review are the group’s US media agencies MindShare and Optimedia (both New York), and Initiative Media North America (Los Angeles), along with Creative Media in New York, whose sibling network OMD handles some Novartis duties outside the US. Insiders say that CIA Media Planning – another Novartis shop outside America – may also be involved.
A final decision is expected in September.
