LONDON - Network Rail, responsible for running Britain's rail infrastructure, is seeking a publisher to distribute a free evening newspaper at its ten largest London stations.
The publication is potentially a rival to Associated Newspapers' morning paper Metro and its paid-for Evening Standard.
The newcomer will have access to almost one million consumers, 76% of whom fall in the ABC1 demographic and will be distributed between 3pm and 9pm, Monday to Friday.
However, Associated Newspapers will retain the right to distribute Metro at Network Rail stations in the morning.
