America Online has signed food giant Nestlé USA in a deal to promote Friskies Petcare brands via its web network.
Sites carrying the promotions will include the House and Home channels both of AOL and its subsidiary CompuServe as well as Digital City.
Ads on the sites will peddle information on Nestlé Fancy Feast and Friskies cat foods brands along with the ALPO and Mighty Dog dog-food ranges.
AOL claims that nearly 70% of its subscribers own pets.
