NEW YORK: Nancy Hill (left), former North American ceo of Lowe Worldwide, has reportedly been chosen as president/ceo-designate of the American Association of Advertising Agencies.
She will step into the shoes of the respected and ubiquitous O Burtch Drake who has helmed the trade body for the past eighteen years.
News of Hill's appointment was apparently leaked to the press before it had been ratified by the AAAA board – although according to one insider, it is a "fait accompli".
Drake himself responded with a curt "no comment" when called by an AdAge reporter. The association's board of directors is expected to make a decision this week.
