LONDON - US-owned cable giant NTL, which operates solely in the UK, has named two senior members of the Virgin Mobile management team to lead marketing of the newly merged entity.
James Kydd and Ashley Stockwell are appointed joint managing directors, respectively responsible for marketing and brands, as NTL prepares to unify its two cable businesses (NTL and Telewest) with the recently acquired Virgin cellphone network.
All will now operate under the Virgin brand, with Stockwell responsible for establishing the integrated firm's new brand positioning and Kydd all other aspects of consumer marketing.
