Management changes continue apace at Ford Motor Company’s Premier Automotive Group following the recent departure of chairman Wolfgang Reitzle [WAMN: 22-Apr-02].
In the latest reshuffle – affecting the unit’s North American arm – Richard Beattie is named executive vp for marketing and sales at the Jaguar and Land Rover marques. Beattie moves from vp–sales/service/marketing for Ford’s Lincoln Mercury brand, recently shifted from PAG to the car company’s new Consumer Business Group unit.
There was further upheaval at Jaguar with the scrapping of the role of general manager, prompting the departure of that post’s incumbent, Sue Callaway.
In addition, George Ayres has moved up from manager of business strategy at the luxury marque to vp of marketing, replacing Michelle Cervantez.
PAG houses Ford’s four European brands: Land Rover, Aston Martin, Jaguar and Volvo.
