One hundred and ten million dollars in cash is expected to change hands over the next five years in a deal between America’s National Football League and three media groups – AOL Time Warner, Viacom-owned CBS, and CBS-affiliate

Although all the parties were zip-lipped about terms, the Wall Street Journal disclosed the mega-deal’s numbers earlier this week. In addition to the base sum, the NFL will receive promotional support and other non-folding perks calculated by the WSJ to add another $200m to the value of the five year contract.

Among the perks are the production of websites for the NFL, including flagship site and The deal supersedes that with Disney’s ESPN Internet Group, valued at a miserly $10m over three years.
