The International Advertising Association has announced a four-day marketing services extension to next year’s International Advertising Festival in Cannes – or Barcelona, or Venice, or other European watering hole if a deal with the Cannes city fathers isn’t concluded [WAMN: 31-Aug-01].

The add-on will follow immediately after the week-long advertising junket in June, and cover direct marketing, sponsorship, sales promotion, interactive and other activities.
