MYSTERY SHOP IN FINAL LINE-UP FOR KMART’s $100M

The race for the $100million advertising account of Troy, Michigan-headquartered retail chain Kmart Corporation entered the final straight with the naming of seven shortlisted agencies.

The magnificent seven are: incumbent of five years standing, Campbell Mithun of Minneapolis, FCB Worldwide (Chicago), Grey Worldwide (New York), J Walter Thompson (New York), Lowe Lintas & Partners Worldwide (New York), Temerlin McClain (Irving, Texas) and a mystery agency, unidentified by mutual consent.

Final presentations will be made in early September, with the victor due to be named later that month
