MURDOCH ADMITS “UNCERTAIN” TV AD SALES

Rupert Murdoch yesterday announced to a shareholders’ meeting in Australia that future ad sales for his US television network Fox Entertainment Group “look a little uncertain”.

His admission will to nothing to allay growing fears of a slowdown in the TV ad market. “There are signs of weakness in the next couple of months,” stated Murdoch, a situation he attributed to a decline in adspend by dotcoms.
