LONDON: The submission date for the Media Research Group's award for Best International Research Initiative, sponsored by Warc, has been extended from 5pm (BST) August 29th, 2012 to 5pm (BST) September 14th, 2012.
Warc announced the partnership with MRG last month and all entries submitted will be published on warc.com.
Entrants to this competition are asked to provide written evidence showing that their research strategy generated rich insights and delivered financial benefits for the client, agency or media owner involved.
The award will be given to the best work looking beyond the UK market and judged to be both ground-breaking and effective by a panel of senior industry executives.
The international category is one of ten awards launched by the MRG, all of which aim to reward creativity, long term consistency and the development of talent among media researchers and insights teams.
Other categories include best research team (media agency), best research team (media research supplier), best research team (media owner), best media research initiative of the year, the IPA/Simon Broadbent award for the best paper, best trade body research, best research innovation, the IpsosMediaCT & Channel 4/Nick Blake Award for Rising Star and a Grand Prix for the best paper overall.
The presentation ceremony will be held on November 16 as part of the MRG International Conference. As part of its partnership with the MRG, Warc will be reporting on presentations given at the conference.
