Following a heavily hyped four-way shootout for its $70-$90 million account, in which the vying quartet were “so good” that online jobs agency postponed its decision “to better evaluate them” [WAMN: 4-Sep-00], just four more days elapsed before Arnold Communications of Boston was declared winner.

Arnold, which is owned by Snyder Communications (currently in process of acquisition by Havas Advertising), replaces incumbent of two years, Lowe Group’s Mullen of Wenham, Massachussetts. Also out in the cold are the New York office of BBDO Worldwide and Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Oregon.
