The Mirror Group has finally found a new ad director for national titles with the surprise appointment of Neil Hurman, ex-media director at Leagas Delaney.
The search for an ad director has been rumbling on since last year when Mark Pritchett left the post for a management role. However, it had been expected that a more established press director might have taken on the role in the wake of Joe Sinyor’s arrival as chief executive.
Hurman was at Leagas Delaney until May, when the agency cut its media operations, and was subsequently reported to be setting up his own venture.
