TOKYO - Japanese prosecutors have indicted internet entrepreneur Takafumi Horie for falsifying earnings at the scandal-hit Livedoor company.
Ex-ceo Horie and four former executives are accused of inflating pretax profit by ¥5.3 billion ($44.7m; €37.4m; £25.8m) in the year ended September 2004. They were indicted last month for misleading shareholders during an acquisition in 2004, but deny any wrongdoing.
