WPP Group’s below-the-line subsidiary OgilvyOne Worldwide has bought Minneapolis-based loyalty program specialist Lacek Group.
Formerly owned by Electronic Data Systems, Lacek will boost O1’s customer relationship management capabilities. The new unit will retain its identity and its Minneapolis location under the leadership of general manager Bill Baker, who himself reports to Lacek’s newly-appointed managing director Michelle Bottomley.
New-York based Bottomley also retains her existing role as chief relationship marketing officer at OgilvyOne North America.
