In Monday’s news story, sourced from Times Online (UK), WAMN reported that NTL’s chief executive Barclay Knapp was preparing to sell his £1.4 million stake in the company.

However, this is apparently not the case. According to the same source today (Tuesday): “… the NTL boss said that he has ‘no intention of selling any shares’ in the cable company”.

This is at odds with yesterday’s Times' report which stated: “As part of the [SEC] filing, Mr Knapp said that he was ready to sell his entire holding of 32,600 shares, worth $1.4 million at Friday’s closing price.”

We apologize to readers and the interested parties for this inconsistency.
