J Walter Thompson and German e-business firm Syzygy are to form a partnership providing better online services for companies across Europe, the pair claimed yesterday. Their agreement covers France, Germany, Britain and Ireland.
The move will meld Syzygy's e-business expertise with the online branding, marketing and media skills of JWT and its Digital@JWT unit, exploiting a growing need for pan-European web services.
“The market is ready for this offer,” believes Syzygy chief executive Chris Robson. “Many leading blue chips and new economy players are actively devising and implementing pan-European eBusiness solutions to break into new markets or gain competitive advantage.”
Syzygy is 31% owned by WPP Group, which also owns JWT.
