Interpublic-owned FutureBrand, headquartered in New York, has bought London-based international branding agency English & Pockett, a specialist in branding for TV, web and interactive media since 1985.

E&P, which has thirty employees, numbers among its clients the BBC and the Discovery cable TV network. It will join the FutureBrand worldwide network and change its name to FutureBrand English & Pockett.

Heading the London unit is Alan Schulman (41), a former executive vice president and managing director at Pittard Sullivan in New York.

Lips are zipped about the price paid.
