The move by computer chipmaker Intel Corporation of its $50 million European advertising account from Paris to London sees Havas Advertising group losing - and winning.
The business exits Havas’ Paris unit Euro RSCG Works and enters the portals of London-based sister agencies Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper and Euro RSCG Interaction. The successful duo will build a forty-strong team to manage the account and work with other Euro RSCG shops across Europe.
Says Intel's European director of marketing Herbert Weber: “We're looking forward to expanding our relationship with Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper. For the past five years they've been successful in managing our UK branding and advertising and, more recently, helped to develop our regional interactive presence.”
