London-headquartered Incepta Group yesterday confirmed its $18.5 million acquisition of New York marketing services agency Broad Street. It will be rebranded Citigate Broad Street, as will its Incepta-owned London counterpart, Yellow Line.

In a separate deal, Incepta also bought London PR shop The Red Consultancy for £12m. Red has an eclectic client mix ranging from public service providers to health and beauty products.

Commenting on Incepta’s current fiscal, ending February 28, chief executive David Wright said that trading was in line with market expectations and that demand in Q4 had “remained strong”.
