The Southbank division of magazine publisher IPC is on the lookout for agencies to handle the advertising for its titles.

Although it plans to begin the search in the next few weeks, it has not yet decided whether it is looking for a single agency for its entire magazine portfolio – which includes Marie Claire, Nova and Ideal Home – or several specialist shops to handle Southbank’s fashion, home and women’s interest titles.

Commented IPC Southbank’s strategic marketing director Helen Farquhar: “We need a creative agency working with us. Whether one agency will be sufficient is something we still need to decide”.

Southbank’s media planning and buying agency, MediaCom TMB, will remain unaffected by the review.
