PARIS - The French advertising holding group Havas has seen first quarter revenues rise 2.6% over the same period a year earlier.
The company, which owns Euro RSCG Worldwide and is headed by chairman Vincent Bolloré, reported revenues of €339 million ($431m; £231m), but Q1 organic revenues slipped 2.4%.
A statement from the group says: "Havas is clearly moving in the right direction and the high level of net new business in the first quarter of 2006 enables it to envisage positive growth in the second half-year."
