Toy manufacturer Hasbro yesterday confirmed speculation [WAMN: 23-Nov-00] that it was consolidating brand advertising with DDB New York.

The account, with billings of $80–100 million, covers brands such as Play-Doh and Mr Potato Head, and was formerly split between Grey Worldwide, Griffin Bacal and Rotter Kantor.

Media duties, currently handled by Optimum Media Direction, are not part of the award, but a Hasbro spokesman did announce that an assessment of the company's media needs had begun.
