PARIS - French weekly gossip magazine Public, published by Hachette Filipacchi Médias, has invested around €10 million ($12.03m; £6.91m) to launch a studio-based internet TV channel in partnership with Yahoo!
    The channel, Public TV, like its parent magazine, targets females in the 15-30 age group. It launched on 20 March and runs for three hours a day both on the portal and on Public's own website It is financed by advertising.
