ICELAND GROUP CHAIRMAN Malcolm Walker has credited the company's new home delivery business as a key factor in the group's healthy sales figures. Announcing like-for-like sales up 10% in the first 19 weeks of 1999, Walker added that a successful advertising campaign, and positive consumer response to the company's ban on genetically modified ingredients in its own-label foods, had also helped to boost revenues. Shares [inexplicably] closed down 0.5p to 259p.
