Insight Communications is to cede a majority interest to Paris-based Havas Advertising Group, making the Budapest-based shop the French group’s second mainstream Hungarian agency after Euro RSCG Worldwide.

Insight will continue to trade under its own name and run as a discrete business from Euro RSCG, enabling both to pursue competing accounts. Insight's president and owner, Laszlo Radnai, becomes CEO of the Euro RSCG group in Hungary, controlling both the Hungarian shops.

Insight managing director Sandor Piller is appointed managing director at Euro RSCG, while Szonya Szigeti replaces him at Insight. Petr Pihanyi migrates to the creative director’s role at Euro RSCG from a like position at Lowe Lintas & Partners Worldwide, Budapest.
