CANNES, FRANCE - The Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival partied to its grand finale at the weekend with the London office of Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO snatching the Film Grand Prix for its brilliant Noitulove [read it backward] commercial created for Guinness.
Other top gongs went to Tokyo's Design Barcode, which collected a Titanium Lion for its reinvention of packaging barcodes with customized designs; TBWA\Paris was named 'Agency of the Year; while the the Palme D'Or, which garlands the most-awarded production company, went for the second year running to Los Angeles-headquartered MJZ .
