Grey Global Group is consolidating its 57 Scandinavian ad and marketing shops into a new, nine-office network branded Grey Global Nordic.
The new unit has billings of $730 million, with clients including Procter & Gamble, Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline and Nokia.
Heading the network is president/ceo Hans Gundesen, who moves from his post of ceo at Grey Denmark and Norway. Each country within the region will also have its own manager – Egil Storaas (Norway), Carl Andreasson (Sweden), Erik Kjaersgaard (Denmark) and Jari Kostamo (Finland).
Commented Gundesen: “This reorganization allows us to fully harness and exploit the combined power of Grey's multi-disciplined resources on behalf of our clients locally, regionally and internationally.”
In addition, the Grey Academy – set up in Denmark to create ‘communication architects’ handling total communication strategy – will be expanded across Scandinavia over the summer.
