London-headquartered agency holding company Cordiant Communications is reshuffling its senior staff to create a triumvirate of regional ceos for Bates Group, the new unit housing the Bates Worldwide ad agency, marketing services firm 141, branding/design shop Fitch and healthcare network Healthworld [WAMN: 09-Sep-02].

Toby Hoare, European chief executive at Bates Worldwide, takes the same post at Bates Group; Bates Asia Pacific ceo Ian Smith becomes head of Bates Group in the same region; and Steve Girgenti, global ceo of Healthworld, takes charge of the parent unit in the Americas.

Under the reorganisation, the heads of Bates Group’s constituent networks retain their positions.
